The dialogue can not be more vague and tedious maybe because he wanted to fill a word count. Others describe him as cunning and I am like if this is cunning then Dantalian would be the god of cunning. more> xianxia could make me lose brain cells at this rate but boy was I wrong. The author will go about describing the characters in various daily activities in such a bland way even a godamn dictionary would be more interesting to read. The pacing is so awful that you can literally skip chapters and not miss anything I assure you. Could this novel get any more pointless? I have seen padding and filler words in novels but at least they try and make their slice of life content enjoyable. This was so confusing I couldn't believe I was reading the same book. Pdt2: It is not that this has a dramatic scene, it is that the protonist is contradictory, it seems that he knows he is the demon lord but he does not UNDERSTAND, that he is the demon lord. Is it that when a reincarnation loses emotional intelligence? When did I miss that explanation? Ah, no, it turns out that the demon god created him from that human soul, therefore, he was never human, but he ends up confused by feelings that are only a defect, poor. Ok, no, but it's like a child sincerely, or a teenager, when you're supposed to be an adult before.

He is the typical antagonist who wants to give love to the world. Of course this can still be read, as long as you do not expect anything. And the things that could be interesting end without being after a few. And to the rhythm of the translations, if something really interesting could happen, I do not know when it will be. If it is supposed to be a "slice of life" I could let it pass. that if this is supposed to be action then it is a disaster. I have finished reading volume 1 and I took a few steps in 2.

Like I said, this isn't a series where I'll be reading each update as soon as it comes out, but I definitely plan on finishing it to the end. The author does a great job of showing that the characters are self aware, and actually thinking about their choices.

I really like that the characters aren't a bunch of dense braindead idiots. The chapters often change the point of view, and give you a good insight into how everyone thinks and why they are the way they are. Not many characters get any real development, but they do at least get detail. Sometimes they become plot relevant and sometimes they don't, but all of it helps to make the world feel more alive. Things actually happen in the background. more> the rest of the worldbuilding is solid enough to maintain the suspension of disbelief. The magic system is generically RPG-like and needlessly overcomplicated, but. Volume 6, despite having the most slice of life filler, has actually been one of my favorites so far, and is certainly the funniest. Still, there are several points where I scrolled through half a chapter of ignorable paragraphs. It often switches over to exposition and slice of life filler, but the plot is definitely there, and the storyline continues to progress. It's a good series, but it's probably better to binge read it rather than to doing it chapter by chapter. If the author is being a jerk, then I will be a jerk too and rate this 1 star. So why should I keep reading when the characteristic that I took interest are now gone?

The story lost consistency and the characters aren't interesting anymore. But it is not really believable at this point and it makes it looks like a ret*rded plot is being cooked by the author. Why was his decisions are getting bad? He doesn't really uses his wit/intellect unlike when he was at the demon continent? Where did his intelligence go? I know the author has plans for the MC. Now that he left the continent (escaping from his duty as a king). By building his forces from scratch and establishing a nation. more> castle and how he acquired his new minions.Īt first volume, it looks like the story is for seinen audience. Not to mention that the author skipped on how the MC rebuild his ruined. It's like getting away from his responsibility. Why nobody question the author when it is being serialized that it is a bad idea to neglect the original plot and neglect the newly built country? I mean, who is sane enough to build your own country then after creating a city then neglect them for no F****ng reason. Is this really a Light novel? Not web novel? I thought Light novels are polished versions of web novel.
